What actually makes a build?
The director describes primary and secondary weapons, accessories, potions and a skill tree as parts of progression. His interview also says weapon development can add skills and movements. Do not evaluate an upgrade only as a larger attack number.[1]
Can you reclaim upgrade materials?
S-GAME officially says reforging returns invested materials for another weapon. This supports experimenting. It does not establish a complete cost table, an unlimited free-reset rule, or the exact menu sequence in the launch build. Check the refund preview before confirming.[2]
What should you test before spending?
Our comparison checklist deliberately avoids an invented optimal build. Compare at the same upgrade state and against the same kind of encounter where practical; otherwise a damage difference may just reflect unequal investment.
- Can you stop the string early enough to answer the next attack?
- Does its reach solve the spacing problem you are actually facing?
- Does the second weapon provide a meaningfully different response?
- What materials will the next upgrade use, and what does reforge return?
Should accessories change when a boss is difficult?
GamesRadar+ reports defensive and enemy-specific accessory effects. Our advice is to name the problem first—survival, spacing or missed defensive timing—then read your available item effects. An accessory is not evidence of a universal best setup, and our guide does not promise an effect you have not found.[3]
